The rooms are stunning and clean. The hotel is on an unbeatable location near great restaurants, shopping and lots of interesting historic buildings, and harbour front. It's worth staying here and exploring Downtown Victoria district.

Had an awesome stay on vacation. the weather was wonderful. - the room was upgraded to a great harbour view on level 2. - the hotel is set in a very central area next to Butchart Gardens and the older lobbies, restaurants, and arcades. - I greatly enjoyed staying here.

The location was peaceful, not too far from The Table. You could walk to a market and shops.

The place was fairly clean with a competent and best staff on shift. The location was peaceful and awesome for walking around Royal bc Museum. Besides, it was short walk to Victoria as well as the market. The breakfast was substantial for a deck-of-card sized French toast.

The location is very good.

Great accommodation, unfortunately mostly not very attentive staff. The hotel guests are overwhelmed by the visitors who visit the hotel. Unfortunately, because of the many visitors, no food was possible in the restaurant. If there was a lot of crowd from the day-trippers of the cruise ships, there was also no place for the much praised 5'clock tea. The accommodation is not worth the price, because as a hotel guest you cannot use the facilities.

The heritage of the hotel

I specifically asked for an ocean view room and paid over cad450 per night! But what I got was only one small window with a just a bit of view! Other bigger windows in the room only got garden view! It is a totally ripped off for the price I paid! I would never do this again!
